If you have not already booked your entertainment, here are some ideas for you to consider. These are only suggestions, because you can have any combination you want. We never forget that your wedding day or event is special and organising the entertainment is fun and a way to say thank you to your guests and of inviting them to join in your celebration.

• Wedding Ceremony: Choose from a harpist, guitarist, trumpet player, or piper to play for your procession into the church and your recession out after the ceremony. How about a solo soprano or tenor to sing whilst you are signing the register, or even a gospel choir? For something completely different choose a jazz band to play acoustically during the ceremony and if the church is within walking distance of your reception venue, why not follow the jazz band through the streets with your guests. This is after all a day of celebration!

  

• Wedding or Event Pre-Drinks: A professional Toastmaster can lead you through the protocol and help to keep everything running smoothly. Choose from a string or ensemble trio or quartet, small jazz band, solo pianist, guitarist, harpist, or vocal quartet, to set the right atmosphere as your guests arrive; the Toastmaster will announce arrivals for the formal line-up presentation and pre-drinks gathering, before everyone sits down to enjoy the meal. You could even have a piper to play guests and the bride and groom to their tables.

  

• Wedding or Event Meal: To create a relaxing and friendly atmosphere choose a string or ensemble trio/quartet to play whilst your guests are eating. Or perhaps you might prefer a harpist, a guitarist, jazz band or a pianist. To end the meal off, why not provide a magician who would go from table to table entertaining your guests whilst they have their coffee.

  For a Wedding, the speeches can be a very difficult time for children to keep their attention, and sometimes they become a little noisy and make it difficult for their parents to relax. So you may find that a children's entertainer would be a wonderful distraction. The children could be taken to another room where they would be kept amused until the speeches were over. Perhaps you might like to provide a bouncy castle outside for them to use up some of their energy. The magician can also entertain after the meal, and before the evening entertainment starts, by setting up in a static station, or perhaps you might like a caricaturist to fill this part of the Celebrations.

  

  For corporate entertaining, the use of microphones and any formal presentations can be accommodated.

• Evening Entertainment: There are many different types of cover bands, ceilidh bands or specialist groups that you can choose from, ranging from a full twenty piece band to a solo musician. Prices are usually reflected by how many band members there are - the more musicians, the higher the price.
